Emy Spinks Art

The Matthew22 Fund is excited to announce partnering with Emy Spinks. Emy is a fantastic artist who was diagnosed with profound autism and remains none verbal. Her artwork is her voice, and through her art she is able to express herself, share her desires, and the places that she loves. After lockdown Emy gained a newfound sense of freedom and a love for her home county of Yorkshire, she started to create artwork of places of interest she’d visited such as the Yorkshire coast, the Dales and the Wolds to name a few. Emy’s artwork is a unique view of the world through her eyes, the bold and bright colours represent the immersive world she lives in. Through her art she has found a way of embracing and celebrating the world around her instead of the overwhelming sensory overload she experienced as a child.
We hope to bring more people in contact with art, sharing our message of inclusivity throughout. Emy will kindly be designing artwork for our Matthew22 Christmas cards and we look forward to working with her in the future.
If you are interested in buying any Christmas cards please click here for design one or here for design two.
