Give A Duck Foundation 23/24

Following our successful first year, we are delighted to announce a grant of £1,000 was donated to The Give A Duck Foundation, to help fund patient and family support. This was presented by Chair and GAD liaison officer Daniel Hollingworth and Trustee Neil Bond to Elaine Dunning at the GAD headquarters in Wakefield.

GAD have reported that this donation was used to gift 40 Chemo Ducks to children who have been diagnosed with cancer. Money was also allocated to provide siblings with Huggable Hopes and to create a CT scanner for Chemo Ducks that can be used by children during their own CT scans.
